RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency, KSrelief, recently distributed food and shelter packages to families in towns and districts of the flood-affected Balochistan province in Pakistan.

In Washuk town, 818 shelter packages were given to 5,726 residents, while in the Sohbatpur district 965 food parcels were distributed.

The distribution of aid is a part of the second phase of a food security project in Pakistan.

In Yemen, the aid agency provided shelter and food packages to families in Al-Mahrah governorate, hours after Cyclone Tej damaged homes and displaced hundreds of families.

The assistance includes food, blankets, mattresses, and other household essentials.
