Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to the President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok Yol in connection with the numerous casualties as a result of the tragic incident in Seoul.
“It is with deep sorrow that I learned the tragic news of the loss of life in the Itaewon area of Seoul. On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I express my most sincere condolences and words of sympathy to the families and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims. At this mournful hour, the citizens of our country and I are in solidarity with the people of Korea and share their pain in connection with an irreparable loss , ”the telegram says.
