It is noted that according to the Institute of Geology, Seismic Engineering and Seismology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, its epicenter was located 366 km southeast of the city of Dushanbe, 90 km west of the Murgab district of GBAO.
The strength of the tremors in the epicenter was 4 points, and in the Murgab district – 2 points.
There are no casualties or destruction, the CoES stressed.
Meanwhile, according to media reports with reference to the network of seismic stations of SOME LLP of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, the epicenter of the earthquake was 50 km from the border of China.
